This exercise brings awareness of where your pelvis is in space.

This exercise brings awareness of where your pelvis is in space.
You become conscious of how subtle shifts in the pelvic area affect the alignment of the rest of your body.
This can help you to release tensions and is an asset to do everyday movements with less effort and maximum ease.
In the film, I use an i-crown as assisting tool.
If you’d like to purchase one for your own practice, you can do that here
If you are not in possession of a crown, -or not yet:
a rolled-up sports sock will also do.
How to do it:
with a sense of exploration
slowly
gentle and playful
noticing what happens
with ease
How not to do it:
rushed
wanting to do it “right”
doing it mechanically
pinching your buttocks/gluteus
The Benefits:
noticing how your pelvis is connected to your spine
release of your lumbar spine
balancing of your pelvic area
releasing tension in the groins
Credits: Apparently, this exercise had been developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, I found out later.
